The Municipality of Lakeshore has moved from planning into implementation. Under Tracey Bailey’s leadership, the municipality focused on infrastructure renewal, responsible growth, financial sustainability, modernization of services, and stronger community partnerships.
Historic Infrastructure Investment
- Secured and advanced nearly $80 million in provincial and federal infrastructure funding for Lakeshore’s water and wastewater systems.
- Approved over $69 million for the replacement of the Stoney Point Sewage Lagoons and major wastewater expansion projects.
- Adopted the 2024 Water and Wastewater Master Plan, establishing a long-term roadmap for nearly $465 million in future infrastructure investment.
- Positioned Lakeshore to support responsible growth, environmental compliance, and industrial expansion through major servicing upgrades.
Built a Strong Financial Foundation
- Implemented stronger financial forecasting and long-range capital planning tools.
- Maintained low taxes
- Advanced updated Asset Management Plans to better manage municipal infrastructure and future replacement costs.

- Advanced Official Plans and strategic planning initiatives designed to guide Lakeshore’s growth over the next 25 years.
- Championed the addition of a new school to Lakeshore
- Supported Primary Care Expansion with 4000 patient attachments
